1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the website of Lysander Verschuur, MSc (Therapist Lysander).

By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Nature of the Services

I provide psychological assessment and trauma-focused therapy for adults.

This website is intended to provide information about my practice and to allow prospective clients to request an introductory call or therapy appointment.

Submitting a request through this website does not create a treatment agreement or guarantee an appointment. A therapy agreement is only established after I have accepted the request and both parties have agreed to proceed.

3. Not an Emergency Service

My practice is not intended for crisis or emergency situations.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services immediately (112 in the Netherlands).

If you are in the Netherlands and experiencing suicidal thoughts, you can contact 113 Suicide Prevention by calling 0800-0113 (free of charge, available 24/7) or by visiting https://www.113.nl.

4. Appointments, Fees & Cancellation

Appointments are only confirmed after I have accepted your request.

Invoices must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations, requests to reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend without prior notice (no-show), may result in the full session fee being charged.

Exceptions may be made at my reasonable discretion in exceptional circumstances.

5. Complaints Procedure

I strive to provide high-quality psychological care and encourage clients to discuss any concerns or dissatisfaction with me first, so that we can work together towards a satisfactory solution.

If we are unable to resolve the issue together, my practice is affiliated with an independent complaints and disputes procedure in accordance with the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wkkgz) through the Dutch Institute of Psychologists (NIP).
